allows you to “register” a channel. The following commands allow for registration and maintenance of channels; to use them, type /msg X command. For more information on a specific command, type /msg X HELP command.
NickServ
permits users to 'register' a nickname, and stop others from using that nick. NickServ allows the owner of a nick to disconnect a user using the owners registered nick.
MemoServ
With this service you can relay long distance messages to other users, whether they be on or offline.
